Youth have few opportunities to be exposed to hands-on coding and hackathons are low-risk ways to be exposed to programming in a supported way. Our hackathon is aimed at middle and high school students (11-18) who will work in mentor-supported teams to build projects in a number of different areas: Web pages, Mobile Apps, Digital Art, and Games. Students will work together for a day of creative problem solving and conceptual thinking through tinkering, debugging, creating, collaborating, and perseverance. Come join us on Saturday, December 3 at the Central Coast New Tech High School campus for a full day of fun!
