CHROMEBOOK REMINDERS
You will be issued a Chromebook which you will keep through high school, so take good care of it! Accidental Chromebook insurance will be offered at $30 per year and will cover any device/charger that breaks throughout the year (more info will be communicated at the beginning of the year). IT'S WORTH IT! If you choose not to get insurance, you will be responsible for the cost of damaged or lost Chromebooks or chargers.
It is the expectation that you will bring your Chromebook to school DAILY. To keep disruptions to a minimum, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you bring your Chromebook every day and charge it nightly. Charging stations are available in the library in the event that you need to charge your Chromebook or other devices, but space is limited.
Chromebooks are only to be used by you. Do not lend your computer, charger or stylus to your friends, family or siblings. The District will charge $300+ for damaged/lost Chromebooks and $25+ for damaged/lost accessories.
Water bottles and Chromebooks are not a good combination! If you carry your Chromebook in your backpack, carry your water bottles outside of your backpack!
