What is the ASVAB?

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is an assessment given by the Department of Defense that measures abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.

You can take the ASVAB Career Exploration Assessment and learn about career paths for you, without any expectation of military service. See Mrs. O if you are interested.

If you want to enlist in the military, you must take the ASVAB.
