AP Testing - Tonight at 11:59 is the last opportunity to pay for designated test(s)

Taking The College Board Advanced Placement Exams is an important part of all AP courses. Arroyo Grande High School strongly encourages its students take the AP Exams for the AP classes in which they are enrolled. Scoring well on an AP Exam can often earn students college credit for their high school AP class, saving a significant amount in college tuition.

For the May, 2017 AP Exams, students at Arroyo Grande High School will be registering online only. This registration will take just a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access. No payments will be accepted at the AGHS Student Business Office!

This year the AP Exam fee is $99.00 for regular AP Exams and $150.00 for AP Capstone Seminar and Research Exams. Students who participate in the LMUSD Free/Reduced Lunch Program will be able to purchase regular AP Exams for the discounted price of $56.00 and AP Capstone Seminar or Research Exams for $110.00 if they provide a copy of their 2016-17 LMUSD Free/Reduced Lunch Letter to Mrs. Wade in Room 201 before the close of registration. In addition, all AGHS AVID students will have a $16.00 per AP Exam discount, as the AGHS AVID Program is covering this portion.

Online AP Exam registration will begin on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 12:01 AM and will end on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:59 PM. In order to register, AGHS AP students should simply click on the link provided on the AGHS school website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/050150. Students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end. Parents may register their students for AP Exams, but we strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct AP Exams are ordered. Please order carefully!

Arroyo Grande High School is pleased to offer families the convenience of paying AP Exam fees online at the time of registration. Be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration process. Paying online is a great way to confirm the payment has been made and avoid mailing delays.

• Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 12:01 AM – AGHS AP Exam Registration Begins
• Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 12:01 AM – AP Registrations and payments after this date will incur a $10 late fee per AP Exam.
• Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:59 PM – AGHS AP Exam Registration Ends
• Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11:59 PM – AP Registrations that have not been paid for will be cancelled, and AP Exams will not be ordered for any reason.
