Athletic Clearance Packets and Physical Forms will be available online on Monday, May 9, 2016. Parents and Student Athletes must complete the forms and have the opportunity to purchase ASB Card online. Completed physical forms need to be submitted (hard copy) to the Athletic Director prior to any Summer workouts, tryouts or in-season participation.

The US World News Report is out and AGHS was awarded the Silver Medal! We did fantastic! Out of 2399 California public high schools, we were ranked 170 and out of over 21,000 public high schools in the nation, we were ranked 1032. No other SLO County high school ranked ahead of us!
For 4 days over the Spring Break, 13 AG students competed at the SkillsUSA State
Championships in San Diego. There were over 2000 competitors in 110 contests,
with up to 24 kids in each contest. We were good enough to get the following medals:
Commercial Baking: Georgia Reynolds: Silver
Computer Animation: 2 teams, 2 medals
Jeremy DiResto and Marco Giovacchini- Silver
Ryan Hoover and Trace Williams- Gold
Ryan and Trace will be going to the SkillsUSA National Championships in Louisville, KY in June. They continued our dominance of Animation with 10 State champions in 13 years.
We also had kids in Drafting, Architecture, Photography and Culinary.
The Arroyo Grande High School Color Guard won 1st place at West Regional Championships in Valencia, California on March 26th. Additionally the team received an award for Most Enthusiastic Team!

The Arroyo Grande Color Guard, are also championing the fight to help 4 year old Mateo Cota continue his battle against cancer by hosting a benefit show highlighting local color guards and baton twirlers. Admission is free, but they are accepting donations at the door. In addition, tri-tip sandwiches and other food will be available to purchase, with 100% of all proceeds given to Team Mateo to help Mateo get the treatment he needs.
Local talent on hand will be from Cal Poly, Atascadero High School , Templeton High School, Five Cities Twirlers, Elysium Color Guard, Paulding Middle School, and of course, Arroyo Grande High School. The event is family fun event and promises to entertain. The event will take place on Sunday, April 17th, 2016 at 3pm at the Pacific Christian Center, 207 Pilgrim Way, Arroyo Grande.
