Stadium Opens at 3:30 PM. Students report the the GYM at 4:00 PM. Ceremony begins at 5:00 PM.
***No reserved seating is allowed. Items blocking space will be removed. There are no ticket sales for this event. No limit on people to attend.
1. All seniors who plan to participate in the graduation ceremony must attend rehearsal - NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. Attire
-- The graduation ceremony presents the Class of 2017 to the parents, faculty, invited guests, and the community. Your personal appearance should not draw unnecessary attention. The only permissible additions to the caps and gowns are AVID and CSF cords, Leadership Medals, and Top Ten Student Medals.
--Gentlemen are asked to wear dress shirts and ties.
--Ladies are requested to wear dresses or coordinated outfits.
--Ladies may also wear collars issued to them with their caps and gowns (optional).
--Caps will be worn flat on the head with one point aimed straight ahead.
--Tassels will be worn on the left side of the cap.
3. Graduation Night on June 8, 2017
--All graduating seniors should report to the GYM by 4:00 PM for dressing and line up.
-- The processional into the stadium; areas will begin at 5:00 PM sharp! Please be on time; we will start without you!!
4. Following the Ceremony
--Wait for Mr. Bowers to release your row.
--Do not break the recessional line until completely outside the football stadium fence.
--From the recessional, go directly to the blacktop area. Do not turn in your caps and gowns - they are souvenirs for you to keep.
--You or a relative may pick up your diploma at the Student Business Office windows following the ceremony. They will not be mailed to you.
5. Graduation
--Parents and friends of the graduates may take pictures from the stands or from outside the roped-off areas. We ask that you do not go beyond these areas so you will not detract from the graduation ceremony. Information about professional photographs will be sent at a future date and will be accessible on the school website at www.aghseagles.org.
