The Five Cities-Pismo Beach Branch of The American Association of University Women invites interested teenagers and community members to learn from a panel of women professionals on Monday, October 20 at 7:00 pm. Addressing the topic of Advancing Women Success in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Professions, the panel will include Rhonda Cardinal, Environmental Engineer for United Launch Alliance; Phoebe Chen, Physician with Hinds Medical Group and Arroyo Grande Hospital; and Brinda Barcelon, completing a degree in Biology at Cal Poly and recent intern with the Marine Mammal Center in Morro Bay. These pathfinding women will share their journeys, challenges, and advice.
