Arroyo Grande High School Friday Night Live would like to invite students, parents, and the community to the Awareness Gallery in Room 915). This gallery aims to build awareness, educating and engaging students and adults alike to make positive and healthy choices. The interactive gallery is a progression of “scenes” of a day in the life of an AGHS student. It is a personal journey and self-reflection, awareness of self & surroundings and a challenge to youth to make positive choices. These pressures include academic and extracurricular expectations, family stress, and peer pressure. As youth are drinking earlier and earlier, it is so important that we educate our community on the dangers of binge drinking and changing the social norm to be one of choosing healthy choices over substance use. The Awareness Gallery will be open to students during lunch, and to parents and community members on Thursday, January 23rd from 4 to 6 pm.
Deadline to order is January 31st to ensure you receive a yearbook in May 2020! Order at Jostens.com.
Activity Contracts are available for the Winter Formal at the South County Regional Center. Click the link for the contract or pick one up in the Main Office. The AGHS Stadium renovations are in progress. Now we are in need of equipment. Help us reach our goal of $20,000 to purchase hurdles, jump pits, starting blocks, timing systems, weather covers and toe boards. This facility will be a cornerstone for our athletic teams and our community. To provide support, contact James Brown.
