About Us

We are Arroyo Grande High School!  We are so proud to call the Central Coast of California home. We educate almost 2000 students with 175 faculty members that are excited about student learning. A high level of success is maintained at our school. We excel in academics, athletics, and extra-curricular programs. Many of our departments garner state and national recognition through competitive team successes and innovative program design. Students in Band, Mock Trial, Colorguard, Drama, Animation, Robotics, Skills USA, and Agriculture consistently receive local and state recognition.

Winter Formal Activity Contract

Winter Formal scheduled for Saturday, Feb 4th from 7-10pm at Thousand Hills Ranch in Pismo Beach. The theme is Enchanted Night at the Ranch. An activity contract must be filled out in order to purchase tickets. Click here to download the contract.
Homework Center

HOMEWORK CENTER IS BACK AUGUST 31ST

Need a quiet place to get your work done after school? The Homework Center is open from 3:45-4:45 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in room 208 in the Career Center. The HW Center is open to all students! Hope to see you there!

Work Permits Information

Attention to all students that plan on working this year. Please submit a completed work permit request form to Mr. Coville ASAP, or email him at [email protected] Anybody that needs their current permit extended can stop by Room 510, or email Mr. Coville as well.

Our Kids First

Governed by a seven member Board of Education, Lucia Mar proudly educates more than 10,000 students who attend Lucia Mar’s eleven elementary schools, three middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, one independent student study school, and one adult education program. Ongoing partnerships with community colleges, state universities, and local businesses also provide an important role in educational improvement.
