Science with Mrs. Boos

                           

Welcome to the wonderful world of science! My name is Mrs. Boos. I was born and raised in AG and I'm so excited to be back here teaching. This will be my 7th year teaching. The Cal Poly "Learn by Doing" model is the backbone of my class so I try to do as many hands on activities as possible. My goal is for your child to leave my class with the tools to ask questions and think critically about the world around them. 

I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a major in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology but I absolutely love teaching chemistry. My husband and I foster animals so we always have a lot of different creatures running around. I also love growing my own food and doing anything outdoors.
