Welcome to Art Class with Mrs Draine!
Art is about thinking, creating, and empowering students to become creative citizens. In my art classes, students learn and create through the study of traditional and non traditional drawing and painting techniques. These skills will give students the opportunity to produce meaningful artworks in addition to exploring the elements and principles of design. The philosophical aesthetics, art history and art criticism also discussed in this class will provide a well-rounded exposure to the greater art world. It is my goal that students walk away from my art class feeling that they have grown not only as an artist, but as an individual as well.
