Welcome to AVID, where first-generation college dreams come true!

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is an elective program that spans across all four years of high school, preparing aspiring students to become the first in their family to attend a four-year university. Regardless of life’s circumstances, AVID students overcome obstacles and achieve success. They graduate high school and attend college at higher rates, and more importantly, they think critically, lead exceptionally, and reach high expectations to conquer the challenges that await them with confidence.
