MONDAY – FRIDAY 8AM – 4PM

Welcome

The Arroyo Grande High School Library is a welcoming space for all students and staff. We are open for 30 minutes before and after school as well as break and lunch. In our library, everyone is welcome to check out books, relax and read, work on or print out school work, play games with friends or just hang out in a calm space. If you need help with anything, just ask!

Library Books

The checkout period for library books is one month, with an optional one month renewal. You will receive an email when it is time to return/renew your book.  Fees will be entered into Aeries at the beginning of each month for overdue library books. Once the book is returned, the fees will be removed.

  • Chromebooks

The goal of Lucia Mar Unified School District as a 21st Century School District is to provide educational excellence for all students, staff and parents. To achieve this goals all of our students will have access to a Chromebook device to be used as a tool to achieve academic success.

    Distribution of Chromeboks

Students will be issued a chromebook upon initial enrollment into the District or within the first week of school starting. Chromebooks will be given to students after the Student Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) has been provided and acknowledged by the student. At the secondary level, all devices will be tagged with the Secondary Chromebook Student 1:1 Agreement. Students will be held responsible for proper use and care of their device. Each student will be given a Chromebook and charging cable.

What is a Chromebook and why are students using them?

The Chromebook is a personal computer designed to work through the Google Chrome browsers on web-based applications. The District chose this device as the best fit for the needs of the students in term of processing speed, ease of operation, productivity, and cost effectiveness.

    Broken or Damaged Chromebooks

If your device is broken or damaged, please bring your device to the Arroyo Grande High School Library. You will be issued a replacement device. The broken or damaged device has been processed and accessed for damages by ITS, you will be contacted regarding charges associated with the damage.
