Military Resources

Military recruiters from one of the branches of the United States Armed Forces are welcome to visit the Career Center’s military information area and to provide presentations and/or lunchtime tabling. You must communicate with Mrs. Oksner in advance of your visit. 

There are six branches of the United States Armed Services:

Air Force

Army

Coast Guard

Marines

Navy

Space Force

There are three ways to complete military service:

1) Enlistment - See Mrs. O to be connected with a recruiter

2) ROTC at selected colleges

You can take the ASVAB Career Exploration Assessment and learn about career paths for you, without any expectation of military service. See Mrs. O if you are interested.

If you want to enlist in the military, you must take the ASVAB. 

The Armed Services Vocational Aptititude Batttery [ASVAB] Career Exploration Program is an assessment given by the Department of Defense that measures abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.
