Flyer for Cuesta College March Madness FAFSA/CADAA Event

March Madness Workshop March 2nd

Cuesta College is hosting March Madness to support graduating seniors in completing their FAFSA or CADAA for the March 2 priority deadline. The financial aid team will be available to provide hands-on assistance to help students and their families complete their applications, answer questions, and ensure they don’t miss out on valuable financial aid opportunities.
When: March 2, 2026 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Check out the Scholarships website to see how you can earn money for life after graduation. The AGHS Local Scholarship is a simple Google Form that enters you into many scholarship opportunities -- and it is DUE MARCH 25. There are lots of local, county, state, and other scholarship opportunities! Check it out online or see Mrs. O in the Career Center [Room 208] with questions or to pick up printed hard copies.

Community College Application Help

Seniors! If you are attending Hancock College or Cuesta College after graduation, you need to complete ALL of the application steps. Need help with the process? Want to make sure you are on track? See Mrs. O in the Career Center [Room 208] for more information.

Cuesta College reps are in Room 920 every Tuesday morning from 9:45 a.m. until lunch.

Our Hancock College rep will next be on campus THIS Tuesday, March 3rd from 8:30 a.m. through Lunch.

SLO Youth Empowerment Program

Summer Youth Empowerment Program

The City of SLO will offer the Summer Youth Empowerment Program for teens ages 14–17.
This two-week program provides hands-on experience in regenerative agriculture while building practical job skills, confidence, and meaningful connections with peers.
Program Dates: June 15 – June 25
Schedule: Mon - Thurs., 9 AM – 1 PM
Application Deadline April 30th, 2026

Women's Fire Camp Flyer

Hancock College Women's Fire Camp 2026

The Allan Hancock College Fire Technology program invites girls and young women between the ages of 15 and 25 to participate in the Women’s Fire Camp 2026. This is a FREE one-day opportunity for those interested in exploring a career in public service. The camp aims to develop confidence and character through exciting team-building exercises and hands-on training at our state-of-the-art facility at the Public Safety Training Complex in Lompoc.
