First Days of School Procedures

Monday, August 10, 2026

  • Freshman Orientation is from 9am to 1pm. Freshman will meet in the gym. You'll receive your schedules, a free blue zoo t-shirt, be linked up with a link crew leader and group, and do a campus tour as well as some team bonding activities. The event will be followed by a BBQ in the quad. This is a student only event.

  • Parents, please plan to complete the Data Confirmation Process prior to your student attempting to access their schedule. Each year, we require parents to update their students' information through the parent portal (Homelink) to ensure we have correct information in our student information system. Navigate to the “Student Info” tab and select Data Confirmation. Please review every screen, implement any required updates, and ensure you click the green save button located at the bottom of each page.

  • Students schedules will be released at 10am via Homelink. Go to “Classes” to see your schedule. If you cannot access your schedule for any reason, please go to the Attendance Office window on Thursday morning to get your schedule.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026

  • If you have a school issued Chromebook, please prepare to bring it to school fully charged.

  • Schedule changes will not be made for: teacher preference, period preference, style of learning, changing your mind, or wanting to be with friends. Schedule changes will be minimal and must be requested by submitting a Schedule Change Request Form which will be available in the office after school on Friday, August 14th. Changes will only be considered if the form is filled out completely and signed by a parent or guardian. The last day to request a change is Wednesday, August 19th.

    • Students who are missing a class or who are assigned to two classes during the same period will need to report to the main office during the assigned period for a schedule correction. You'll need to show your schedule to someone at the door.

  • Lunch Off Campus? Students must show their 5 Star Student ID, class schedule, or last year's ID Card to leave. Freshmen and Sophomores must remain on campus.
