AGHS Intramural Soccer Tournament Bracket

Intramural Soccer

Intramural Soccer is back, scan the QR Code on the flyer or see Mr. Alvarez to sign up. Staff teams are welcome. Tournament will take place at lunch October 14th - October 24th.

Unified Basketball Game

The Fall Unified Basketball Game is on Tuesday, October 21st, during 3rd and 4th periods in the gym! Our Eagles will be taking on Nipomo High School, and we’d love to see the stands packed with cheering fans and positive vibes! If you’re interested in becoming a buddy or helping out, submit this permission slip to Mr. Reid in Room 983 by Friday the 17th.

Clubs should know in order to advertise for your club's special events, please turn your announcement into room #205 for posting. Going forward, flyers will be hung in Eagle Hall, on the tri marquee and blue board in the quad, on the Softball Shed wall, outside room #912, and in the admin building window. All other posters will be removed.

Reminder that the Counseling Center is open! We are pleased to announce that our AGHS Counseling Center is now open at break and lunch. We are located in room 515. One counselor is in the Counseling Center at break and lunch each day. This is a great place to hang out and play games or draw, to ask questions and get answers from a counselor, or to bring your friends and just eat lunch and chill.

Juniors and Junior Families: We met with all juniors through their English classes last week. We talked about the courses they need for senior year and reviewed graduation and college eligibility requirements. Please ask your student to see the Junior Google Classroom and the scheduling resources we provided there. We sent a Parent Square post with a google form for parents/guardians to complete to let us know that you have seen your student’s tentative schedule and that you approve. We will meet again with our rising seniors the week of October 20th.

Seniors and Senior Families: Thank you to all who attended our College Application Night last week! We loved seeing so many families and hearing all of the amazing questions you had. Please remember that the counseling department wants to see all college apps before your student submits and we are here for drop in hours every Monday through Thursday from 2:00-4:00PM for college app help!

Make Sure to Clear your Absences

Clear Absences by 4pm Tuesday, 11/04/25. Please make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 10/06/25 - 10/31/25. After that date, we will not be able to make any changes.

College & Military Visits

Seniors and Juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. Visits that will last longer than two days would require a Short Term Independent Study Contract to excuse the absence.
