Clubs should know in order to advertise for your club's special events, please turn your announcement into room #205 for posting. Going forward, flyers will be hung in Eagle Hall, on the tri marquee and blue board in the quad, on the Softball Shed wall, outside room #912, and in the admin building window. All other posters will be removed.

Want or need to see your counselor? Remember that we are here to help support our students in the areas of academic achievement, college and career awareness, and social emotional health. Please make an appointment with your counselor if you need any help in these areas. Also, please come see your counselor in our Counseling Center in room 515 at break or lunch. One counselor is in the Counseling Center each day at break and lunch. This is a great opportunity to check in and get questions answered without having to wait for an appointment!
Attention Seniors! You have 5 WEEKS of school left! You should be passing your classes and getting that community service done! Please see your counselor if you are struggling with this. We are coming up to the May 1st deadline for community service hours to be turned in. If you do not meet this deadline, you will be considered a NON GRAD.
Seniors, do you still want to go to a 4 year university? There are still 15 California State University campuses accepting applications for the fall of 2026. Bakersfield, Channel Islands, Chico, Dominguez Hills, East Bay, Humboldt, Los Angeles, Monterey Bay, Northridge, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, San Marcos, Sonoma, and Stanislaus. Please see your counselor if you are interested in applying to one of these campuses!
Attention Cuesta Bound Seniors! Our first ever Cougar Welcome Day will be this Thursday, April 30th. If you are going to Cuesta and have completed all steps of the registration process, please pay close attention to your email for instructions on when and where to meet with the Cuesta counselors.
After School Counseling Support: We are pleased to offer after school counseling support in our Counseling Center, room 515, on Wednesdays after school. There will be a counseling intern in room 515 from 3:35-4:30 each Wednesday. This is a great time to get homework help and academic support, to get extra study time, or to talk to a trusted adult. Please come to the Counseling Center in room 515 after school on Wednesdays!

Make Sure to Clear your Absences |
Clear Absences by 4pm Tuesday, 05/19/26. Please make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 04/20/26 - 05/15/26. After that date, we will not be able to make any changes. |
 |
College & Military Visits |
Seniors and Juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. Visits that will last longer than two days would require a Short Term Independent Study Contract to excuse the absence. |
